The Toowoomba Railway Parklands Priority Development Area (PDA) aims to provide a range of new housing for the community's changing needs and deliver infrastructure and services.
Located north of Toowoomba's CBD it covers approximately 50 hectares.
The PDA was declared on 12 December 2014 at the request of Toowoomba Regional Council
The development scheme is the regulatory document which assists with planning, carrying out, promoting, coordinating and controlling land development within the PDA.
The Toowoomba Railway Parklands PDA Development Scheme commenced on 28 January 2016.

All development applications are assessed against the development scheme.

The Toowoomba Railway Parklands PDA Development Scheme includes an infrastructure plan to ensure appropriate infrastructure is in place to support this growing and dynamic area.
