Description	The redevelopment and expansion of the existing resort at Lindeman Island

Key features	refurbishment and expansion of the existing resort to include a 5 star Beach Resort, Spa Resort, Ecotourism facilities and a Tourist Villa Precinct facilities including arrival centre, restaurant, bar, pool, spa, gymnasium, event space, and 64 staff accommodation rooms a central village precinct comprising restaurants, bar, night club, conference facility buildings, shops, sport and recreation centre and a staff village existing airstrip and golf course upgrades installation of a new jetty and additional moorings repair and reinstatement of the existing jetty and addition of floating pontoon, additional moorings following further design during preparation of draft EIS a National Park and Great Barrier Reef Educational Centre environmental enhancements - native vegetation replanting, improvements to stormwater management and a shift towards renewable energy sources are proposed.
