Last lots at Cleveland Bay Industrial Park ready to go
Exciting news for Townsville and North Queensland! We’ve reached a significant milestone, signing off on the plan of subdivision and easements for the final developable lots at Cleveland Bay Industrial Park (CBIP).
With this the CBIP is ready to attract further industrial investment, meaning more opportunities for businesses, more economic growth and more jobs in the region.
Here’s what’s happened so far.
Since its inception, CBIP has delivered impressive outcomes, including:
- 125 hectares of fully serviced freehold lots for industrial development across 38 lots.
- $157.7 million in capital investment and the creation of 310 new jobs, boosting Townsville’s economy.
- Streamlined planning and regulatory processes, enabling projects to move forward efficiently and with certainty.
- Development-ready land for transformative projects, such as the Queensland Resources Common User Facility and Jetzero’s sustainable aviation fuel proposal.
