About the project
The Corvus Metallurgical Coal project is a greenfield underground longwall metallurgical coal mine and a coal preparation plant with supporting infrastructure such as overland product conveyors, access roads and tracks, water, sewage and waste management infrastructure, and power infrastructure. The project is expected to deliver a significant economic boost to regional Queensland, with significant jobs and extraction of up to 10.5 million tonnes per annum of run-of-mine coal with up to 8.3 million tonnes per annum of saleable product coal over a planned mine life of 25 years.
